Record your usual pronunciation. These clips are for evaluation only. Each recording saves directly to the Kioku research server after you stop. Wait for the saved confirmation before closing this page.
Allow microphone access when prompted. Chrome or Edge is recommended. No download or manual upload is needed.
For a single sound, speak promptly after starting and stop after the sound; aim for less than 2.5 seconds total. Longer recordings are kept and flagged by the duration check. For a word, speak one word. For a background control, record five seconds. For Japanese, use the reading shown; kana with the same modern sound share a class. For Armenian letters, record the sound used in the exercise. For the confusing vowel groups: ե = ye (/je/), է = e (/e/), և = ev (/ev/), ո = vo (/vo/), օ = o (/o/). Consonants can be bare or followed by the neutral vowel ը; record their sounds instead of the full letter names.

Recordings save automatically. You can stop after the first 20 prompts; partial sets are useful diagnostics. Full basic coverage requires 46 Japanese kana and 39 Armenian sounds, twice each, plus the word prompts. The optional Japanese set covers all 116 supported sound classes. Repeat sessions with your usual devices when convenient. Each take is preserved separately, including pauses and unsuccessful attempts.
